What we do
Smell the revitalising scent of a eucalyptus leaf as you crush it in your hand, run your fingers over a stalk of lavender and inhale its soothing scent, or scratch the rind of an orange to release its fresh, zesty aroma. What you smell are pure essential oils which you have just released from these plants. Molecules of pure essential oils are what will surround you as you step into Perfect Potion.

Who we are
Perfect Potion owners, Salvatore Battaglia and partner Carolyn Stubbin, are excited to share with others their passion for aromatherapy and a holistic way of life. In 1986, while studying electrical engineering, Salvatore Battaglia developed a fascination for essential oils and aromatherapy. Four years later, he left his engineering job to follow his passion.
After selling his products for a few years at markets around Brisbane, Salvatore and his partner Carolyn Stubbin, opened the first Perfect Potion store in the original Elizabeth Arcade in 1991. The company now operates 12 Perfect Potion concept stores in Australia and Japan. Perfect Potion also exports to New Zealand, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Bali and Malaysia.
In 1995, Salvatore published The Complete Guide to Aromatherapy, which has sold over 50,000 copies and is internationally acclaimed as the most comprehensive textbook on aromatherapy. In 1999, Carolyn, a cosmetic chemist, published the Do It Yourself Pure Plant Skin Care and has since sold over 20,000 copies.
In 2000, Perfect Potion opened a dedicated, TGA approved manufacturing facility in Virginia, Brisbane.
