E-Cycle Recovery is a South Australian owned company that is aiming to provide a solution for the ever increasing problem of e-waste. E-waste is an informal and popular term used to describe electronic products at or nearing the end of their useful life. The most common types of e-waste items are televisions, computers, fax machines, VCRs/DVDs and stereos.
With a keen interest in best practice recycling, E-Cycle Recovery are the only Australian e-waste recyclers to be a member of the International Association of Electronic Recyclers (IAER), and have had their efforts recognised in the form of a World Environment Day Award for “their commitment to electronic waste recycling”, an ANZ Small Business Award for “the most outstanding overall business plan” and most recently have been awarded the winner of the “HP invent Best Micro Business” as part of the 2008 BEC Australia Awards. Operating for the past three years they pride themselves on recycling all types of e-waste in a socially responsible and ethical manner and are currently undergoing ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) accreditation.
